I was a student in Pat's (Ms. Gowan)2nd grade class at Emma. I loved her so much! My Mom said I wanted to be just like her...right down to the same kind of shoes she wore! I played school every day after school, and my class was just like hers. Many years later, I became a teacher...because of my 2nd grade teacher. She mentored me through student teaching in 1982. I have been a teacher for 30 years now. My love for teaching stemmed from Pat. She was loving and kind. I will forever be grateful for her guidance.
