Condolence: Love you, Patty. God called you home with my grandfather, so this pain here on earth is blessed by the reassurance that our true family is growing and waiting for us to arrive as well. Thank you so much for being a part of my life. I always enjoyed seeing you when we would come over or happen to encounter in church. You would always put a smile on my face. Today, let me leave you with a smile - you are free, born again with the everlasting Father holding you close and a life purer than water could ever be. Condolence: Pat Gowan was my 3rd grade teacher at Emma. I loved her so much. She was such a great teacher. She would always make sure you understood what you were doing. She was one of the best teacher I ever had. The year that she got teacher of the year I was one of her students.She was so a sweet lady. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: I was a student in Pat's (Ms. Gowan)2nd grade class at Emma. I loved her so much! My Mom said I wanted to be just like her...right down to the same kind of shoes she wore! I played school every day after school, and my class was just like hers. Many years later, I became a teacher...because of my 2nd grade teacher. She mentored me through student teaching in 1982. I have been a teacher for 30 years now. My love for teaching stemmed from Pat. She was loving and kind. I will forever be grateful for her guidance.

Condolence: I met Pat when she was a Reading Specialist in the creaky, old rooms of Biltmore Elementary and I was student teaching. Her sweetheart of a dad was the Audio Visual man in the know located in the basement. At Fairview Elementary, Pat lead through empathy, always had a smile and she was a principal you could always find when you needed her.She always hand wrote a thank-you note to me after I finished a school production which I've kept. Thank-YOU, Pat. Rest in Peace.
