A Shared Life

Dearest ones,

Indeed, what a man Preston was. He had  been doing business with us for many years and no telling how many people he sent to our business.  He was just that type of person. He always had kind words to say about folk, and we never heard him complain or say one bad thing about anybody. Always jolly and enjoyed sharing his cow horn peppers with Sam just to "light" up his world.  Did not get to know his precious wife Susie until about the last 10 years or so, and I can honestly say that I wished many times for just a grain of the faith they both had in the Lord. They lived their faith and shared it abundantly.  Even for just a brief encounter, they both always brought Jesus into the conversation, and we will never know until we reach our final home in Heaven just how many lives he touched and how many seed he sowed for the futherance of the Gospel. We were witnesses to how much he loved his family and was so proud of them.

Preston was a "presence"  and touched many lives.  Sam and I are blessed  and honored for having known him and will miss him. But our faith will end in sight one day , and what a glad reunion day!

Please know that we are praying for you all. Our loss is Heaven's Gain.

Love in Christ.    Sam & Ann McAbee
