Dear Gerald and Family, I want to express my condolences. Alda Jean was a beautiful person inside and out. She was one of the most pleasant people I have ever had the pleasure of being around. I remember Daddy and me coming to her house, looking for Gerald who was supposed to have been ready to play golf with us 30 minutes or an hour earlier. Alda Jean would just say, "Oh, you know Gerald. He's not going to get in a hurry!" I can honestly say that I never saw her be mad or overly upset at anything. That kind of attitude can only come from a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I wish you all nothing but the best.
