I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Young's passing. She was a great influence in my life as a young girl in her class at North Buncombe High School. This is where I really learned to love to read and enjoy a good book. She also would come occasionally to lead the choir at Flat Creek Baptist church and her love of music always, just as her love of the written word, transcended the pages to inspire and lift us to a higher level. I send my condolences and love to family and friends.
