John Capps, Jr., 72 of 63 Mountain View Rd. passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014. He was a native of Madison County and son of the late John Henry and Opal Roberts Capps. John was retired from US Forest Service as a Land Surveyor. Mr. Capps was also preceded in death by his two brothers Thomas and David Capps.
He is survived by his two sons Kevin Capps of San Diego, CA. Jesse Capps of St. Michaels, MD., sister; Ann Parks (Frank), brother; Dennis Capps (Doris) and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Gabriel's Creek Baptist Church.
