Condolence From: Emily Brown
Condolence: John was a kind, loving, and loyal friend to my husband Andy and our family for many years. We will always carry in our hearts beautiful memories of happy times spent with him and his two sons, Kevin and Jesse. And I will always remember those twinkling blue eyes and his special laugh--he did enjoy a lively conversation, telling/retelling old stories, and listening to all kinds of music. We will always love and miss our John Capps.

Condolence: To the Capps Family, I worked with John during our days at the Forest Service. Such a quiet and humble person, he was a joy to work with. The family is in my thoughts and prayers during this time of bereavement. May God continue to bless each of you and provide you strength.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about John's passing. My time with John was brief but I appreciated his love of music and gardening, as well as history. He was a good, salt of the earth person! We will benefit from his survey work for years to come.

Condolence: To the Family of John Capps:
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of John. He was one of my favorites at the Forest Service. John knew me as a child, due to the fact that my mother worked at the FS also.
I was honored and privileged to also have a chance work with him. He was one of the most kindhearted, polite, and helpful individuals that I have ever known. Even after he retired, it was a joy to see him in the office. There was such a wonderful spirit about him that I'm sure is now his legacy. He will truly be missed.

Condolence: John was a wonderful soul-we sat beside each other at work for 15 years. He was calming, patient and had a wonderful, shy smile and greeting each day. He cared very much for his work, and loved his music. Pictures of his sons were always in front of him. We will miss him. My condolences to his family.
