Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Walter Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Uncle Walter might not have been the tallest man I ever knew, but he was certainly one of the biggest men I ever met. He set the precedents, the standards and the bars for everyone to emulate. He was the family mentor. For years he said the prayer and blessed the food and our families at our family reunions and passed that tradition on for us to continue for years to come. I will miss the jokes he and I traded whenever we met. He left some big shoes to fill and a huge mark in our hearts. God Bless Uncle Walter and his family.
