Obituary for Edgar Davis
Edgar “Ed” Davis, 74 of Asheville, went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 30, 2017 at John F. Keever Solace Center after a long illness. He was the son of the late James and Ida Willis Davis. He is preceded in death by a sister Patricia Davis and grandson Brandon Kelso.
He is survived by his wife Paulette Angel Davis; daughters, Angelea Locklear (Jr) of Charlotte and Debi Halterman (Keith) of Penn.; sons, Randall Davis of West Virginia, Stephen Angel (Angela) of Weaverville; sister, Tina Boegerman (Dave) of Hendersonville; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00pm Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. Terry Sprouse officiating. Burial will follow at Penley Cemetery.
