Condolence: Mr Ammons was one of the best teachers I had the privilege to have. I was fortunate enough to have him for several classes and even was his assistant one year. He cared as much about you as a person instead of just a student. My mom, Patty Cochran, even worked for him during tobacco season. He will be greatly missed.

Condolence: Mr. Ammons was one of my favorite teachers. Not only did he teach me geometry, he taught me kindness and compassion. My mom (Kathleen Edwards Young) knew him from Madison County and spoke highly of him and Geneva. He was such a treasure to all who knew him. My thoughts are prayers are with the family.
