R.B. English, 74 of Aleesha Mtn. Rd. passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at Mission Hospitals-Memorial Campus. He was a native of Madison County and son of the late Frank and Lassie Hensley English. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his sons, Gregory Lynn and Ralph Keith English and a brother Charles English. Mr. English was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Haynes English; daughter, Lisa English; son, Gregory Keith English (Brandi); sister, Louise Shelton (Worley); sister-in-law, Emma Sue English; grandchildren, Bryan Dean English (Stephanie), Aleesha Rohe (Dustin), Kendall Nix and eigth great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 14, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends J.D. Deaton and Charlie Robinson will officiate. Interment will take place in Haynes Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
