The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Larry Norton can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

A Very Special Kind of Man

I will always remember Larry for his kindness and his enormous talent. 

Over 40 years ago Larry planted and maintained beautiful gardens for the previous owners of our home.

He created such beauty in our garden that it still remains today . When I  spend time tending Larry's

garden , I am always struck by his amazing talent to see and create beauty. When I am in the garden , I

offen wish that Larry could be there to guide me and teach me about the soil and flowers and his feeling

for the space. 

When Larry would come for dinner or a visit he would always light up the room with his enthusiasm, his

stories and his kindness. He always brought flowers and  everyone- especially the ladies- felt  special. 

Even when his health was failing, he always remained positive , a quality I admire greatly. 

I know Larry has gone to a better place where his laughter and his smile will continue to warm hearts

and he will continue to create beauty. 

Good bye sweet man . You will be missed , but there will always be a special place for you in the garden

at 50 Mountain Top Lane and in our hearts.
