The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Condolences

Condolence From: Ricky Anderson
Condolence: I just read Jim's obituary in the News Record. It mentioned Mars Hill's undefeated Babe Ruth baseball team of 1974. I was a player on that team and still have a picture of the team and the results of every game. That was the only undefeated team I ever played on. We were 13-0. During the 11th game, we were the home team but found ourselves down 7-4 to Red Oak with three outs left in the game. Honestly, I wasn't too sure about it, but Jim, as he always did, told us we could do it. His steady influence was a big reason why we believed we could do it, and we did by scoring four runs to win it. See you in heaven, Jim. We will relive those games and celebrate all over again. We'll have an even better time praising the Lord Jesus as I'm sure you are doing now!
To the family I give my deepest condolences. Jim was a quiet man but a great man. May God bless you.
