Condolence: So sorry to hear of Fed's passing. He was
a great gentleman. It was good for several
cousins and me to visit with him a few years
ago and learn family history from him. Glad to
call him cousin. RIP Gentleman Fred.🌹

Condolence: Fred was one of my all time favorite people, coming into the library and in life. My thought and prayers are with Lib and their sons.

Condolence: Mr. Sams was a great golfer and never refused to play on a team when the Mad. Co.American Cancer Society had a tournament to raise money. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Sams, Robert and the rest of his family.

Condolence: I don't even know how to respond, but what I do know is from the first day of high school, Mr. Sams picked me up. It was opening day at Madison High, I was nervous, and full of anxiety and I sat and talked to Mr. Sams about going to a high school where there were so many people. Fall of 1974, Mr. Sams told me not to be afraid of new beginnings,to embrace them. I did and I embraced him from that day on. I saw him not two months ago walking along Bailey St. and I stopped and told him 37 years later, exactly how much he meant to me then and now. Mr. Sams you have embarked on a new beginning today, and it's one where we'll never have to get old, never feel pain, nor fear, nor grief forever more. Enjoy Heaven my friend.
