Connie Waldrup Boone Crawford, 87, of 10 Boone Trail, Weaverville, NC passed away January 13, 2015 at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Crawford was the daughter of the late Thomas William and Cordelia Hensley Waldrup. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Boone, sons, Novile Boone and Jimmy Crawford, and a daughter, Deborah Crawford. Connie was a very faithful member of Barnardsville Freewill Baptist Church, a woman of great faith, a care giver to many and always had plenty of love for everyone.
Connie is survived by husband, Willie G. Crawford, sons, Monroe Boone (Lissa), Harlon Boone (Jane), Johnny Boone (Linda), Roger Boone (Diane), Ronnie Crawford (Elaine), Michael Crawford (Brenda), Robert Reed and Everett Hensley, special daughter, Theresa Nazario, daughter in law, Janie Boone, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Crawford’s funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, January 17, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Dale Ball and Reverend Mike Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow at the Little Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5 – 8 PM Friday, January 16 at Blue Ridge Funeral Service, 7626 Hwy 213, Mars Hill, NC 28754.
A special thank you to the staff of Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation Center for the care they gave to Mrs. Crawford during her stay.
