Mollie Burleson Robinson, 97, of Flat Creek Church Rd., Weaverville, NC, passed away January 4, 2015 at Madison Manor Health and Rehabilitation. Mollie is the daughter of the late Joseph “Joe” and Nora Radford Burleson. She was a member of Paint Gap Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Hiram Robinson, an infant son, Buddy Robinson and a sister Geneva Dunaway.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by a daughter Marietta Chandler and husband Donald; sons, Ray Robinson and wife Louise, Charles Robinson and wife Shirley; grandchildren, Rhonda Lovingood, Donna Lanahan, Rodney and Chuck Robinson, Greg and Steve Chandler and nine great grandchildren.
Mollie’s funeral service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, January 7, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Seth Metcalf and Stanley Peek will officiate. The burial will follow in the Paint Gap Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
