Weaver Henry Ogle, 91, of 154 Charland Forest Rd., Asheville, passed away October 19, 2014 at Stone Creek Health and Rehabilitation. He was the son of the late John Wesley and Belle Ray Ogle. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sisters, Ira Mickle, Raye Rakestraw and Marie Allen; brothers Roy and Warren Ogle.
Mr. Ogle is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ella Jay Rice Ogle; daughters, Luci Ogle Smith and Hilda Ogle Miller (James); sister, Hettie Lee Brookins and brother Joe Ogle; grandchildren, Blaine, Connie and Paula; great grandchildren, Cindy, Hannah, Morgan, Adam, Taylor, Anna and Andrew and a great great grandchild, Joe.
A funeral service will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, October 22 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Cecil Robinson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
