Evlyleen Fisher Barlow, 81 formerly of Mars Hill passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at her son’s residence in Hillsborough, NC. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Maude Boone Fisher. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Freddie W. Barlow and son Joseph Barlow.
Mrs. Barlow is survived by sons Brian Barlow (Melody) of Hillsborough, NC and Richard Barlow of Marshall, NC; sister, Ammie Stines; brother, David Fisher (Barbara); five grandchildren and other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 4:00pm Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Greg Hollifield and Larry Stines will officiate. Burial will follow in the Forks of Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 3:00 -4:00pm prior to the service.
