Amanda Lynn Ledford Ponder, age 37, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 28, 2017.
She is survived by her husband, Derek Ponder, parents, Stokey and Brenda Harris Ledford; children, Hailey and Landon Ponder; sisters, Amy Rice (Mark) and Andrea Herrera and husband Renè; father and mothers in law, Alvin and Tammy Ponder and Donna Smith; nephew, Austin Rice and other relatives and many friends.
Amanda was a native of Buncombe County and a graduate of North Buncombe High School.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. Worth Emory officiating. Burial will follow at the Williams Branch Cemetery.
