Zona Simpson Ledbetter, 63, of 1140 North Main Street, passed away December 18, 2016 at her residence. She was a native of Buncombe County and the daughter of the late James Simpson and Zona Whitmire Simpson. Zona was an artist who loved nature and animals. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a son in law, Robert Bingaman.
She is survived by daughters, Amber Ledbetter (James Parker), Genevieve Bingaman, Wendy Simpson (Richard Anders); a son, Neil Levi; sister, Diane Feuer; grandchildren, Brian Grooms, Kaitlynn Parker, Hailie Billings, Kaila Jackson, Madilanine Billings and Skyler Simpson; great grandchild, Cameron Jackson.
Per Mrs. Ledbetter’s request, there will be a private scattering of her remains at a later date.
