Condolence From: Linda Kerns
Condolence: I am so heartsick. I just learned of Jason's passing. I am speechless, and so incredibly heartbroken. I wish so much that I had known of Jason's passing. We had been friends for many many years, and it was not too long ago that we spoke. He always offered me a place to stay in NY, and would call me when he was "on the road" headed home. Oh Jason, I love you so much. I cannot believe that you are gone. To your family---there was no one better. Thank you for sharing Jason with us all.

Condolence: Jason lit up a room when he entered it. Whether it was my home, the theatre, a restaurant, anywhere really, his inner light was brilliant. I have so many, many wonderful memories shared with Jason. Working with him at Barter Theatre, getting to know him as a friend and colleague. His generosity exhibited itself in many ways as I was grieving the loss of my child many years ago while we were both in Abingdon, VA. I extend my deepest sympathy to Dawn and Irene, Carol Ann and Linda and their extended families. May the thoughts of others help hold you up as you adjust to a world without Jason.

Condolence: My sympathies to the family of this warm and kind, talented man. I had the pleasure of doing "Pump Boys and Dinettes" with Jason in Cleveland, 1986. We stayed in touch and he lived in my neighborhood for a while. Such a nice guy! To have a son who is so genuine is a tribute to the parents who raised him. God bless you all.

Condolence: My prayers are for peace, comfort and strength for the Edwards family for their loss. I so remember growing up down the street from David. We always had so much fun doing all the things in our small town that made our childhood grand. Riding bikes, playing basketball, going to the corner drug store for an ice cream float and just sitting on Shope's window ledge to watch the traffic. David always made me laugh, could sing like a bird and was kind to everyone. Until we meet again sweet friend RIP.

Condolence: Dear Jason, true friend, how I loved you; how I miss you. Because you were here, the world had more color, more kindness, more music, more laughter, more surprises. You know I was always so very proud of you. "You just call out my name, and you know where ever I am, I'll come running, to see you again. Winter, spring, summer, or fall, all you have to do is call, and I'll be there, yes, I will. You've got a friend..." Always, Sally Morgan Guerard

Condolence: Edwards Family, I am praying and thinking for each of you and the loss of Jason. Times and happenings of this nature we do not understand. All of us have to call upon our faith to carry us through times like this. I always remember Jason with a happy smile when ever he was around. I always enjoyed the times when he came home and would come by my business just to speak and check on me. I am so sorry for your loss. Bill Zink
