Obituary for Ruth Ada Hinman (Henderson)
Ruth Ada Henderson Hinman, age 90 of Flint Hill Road passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016. She was the daughter of Eldon and Fancheon Payne Henderson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband Roy Lee Jones, late husband, Dr. Havila Hinman, son, Michael Harvey Jones, one sister, four brothers and daughter-in-law Linda Kay Jones. Mrs. Hinman loved sewing, quilting and helping anyone in her neighborhood who needed help.
She is survived by her sons, Harold Henderson (Bobbie), Lloyd “Doug” Jones (Caren), Roy Lee Jones, step-son, Mike Hinman (Letha); brother, Rex Henderson; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Steve Freeman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eldon Henderson Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
