Geneva Owenby Shepherd, 75 of Harris Henrietta Rd. passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Owenby and Inez Owenby Spicer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Shepherd.

Ms. Shepherd is survived by her daughter Linda Hopper (Stanley); sister, Kathelene Jackson; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, September 26th at Chambers Cemetery in Mars Hill. Blue Ridge Funeral Service is assisting the family in final arrangements
