Rosalie Tomberlin Shook, 80 passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Madison Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a native of Madison County and the daughter of the late Homer and Willie Ramsey Tomberlin. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Boyd and Thore Tomberlin.
She is survived by her sisters, Ruth Thomas, Jean Riddle, Norma Cheek and Debra Schmid; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Morgan Hill Baptist Church of which she was a member. Reverends Dalton Ramsey and Jimmy Upton will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
