Obituary for Harold Lane Merrill
Harold “Lane” Merrill, 74, of 417 Sportsman Circle, Salem, SC, passed away August 15, 2016. He was the son of the late Gay and Beulah Sams Merrill. Lane was a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Angel Merrill; sons Tim Merrill (Susie) and Shawn Hyer; sister, Joyce Brigmon; brother, Lowell Merrill; grandchildren, Josh, Jacob and Jordan Merrill, and Emily Hyer; great grandchildren, Bryson, Julia and Audrey Merrill, Kylie and Jackson Jewel and several nieces and nephews.
A private burial was held at Bull Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of Tim and Susie Merrill, 520 Merrill’s Farm Dr., Marshall, NC 28753.
Donations in Lane’s memory can be made to Bull Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 820 Kelley Hunter Road, Marshall, NC 28753.
