Charles David Rector 80, 288 Davis Chapel Road passed away at his residence on Monday, June 20, 2016. He was a native of Madison County and a retired Navy Veteran. He was the son of the late Herman and Robbie Tipton Rector. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Martha May Seay and half-brother Jackie Ramsey.
He is survived by his wife Diane Woolford Rector; daughter, Shannah Chism (Charles); son, Avery Rector; sisters, Betty Jane Cook, Phyllis Ann Farmer and Dale Roberts (Lloyd), three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, daughters, Stacey Rector and the late Linda Grace.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Reuben Lisenbee officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
