Wade Buckner, age 88, of 240 Dillingham Rd where he made his home, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016. He was the son of the late Al and Ona Lunsford Buckner. He is preceded in death by his wife, Addie Henderson Buckner; son, Christopher Buckner; sisters, Iva Worley, Murphy Roberts, Ola Norris and Robbie Buckner; brothers, Loy and Glenn Buckner. Wade retired from Micro-switch and lived most of his life in Madison County.
His is survived by his son, Richard Buckner (Linda); grandson, Michael Buckner (Susan); great grandsons, Dillon Larry and Ethan Wade; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 22, 2016 at North Fork Missionary Baptist Church with Reverends Gary Fender and David Crowder officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
