Beva Whitt Hoyle, 89 of McLean Rd. passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Bascombe and Gracie Willis Whitt. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband J. C. Hoyle; sisters, Cindy Hagan, Orla Tipton, Leakie Jenkins and Bettie Davis; brother, Chalmers Whitt; granddaughter, Stephanie Hoyle and grandson, Matthew Hawkins.
Mrs. Hoyle is survived by her daughters, Delilah Ballard (Hoyle), Darlene Hoyle, Jeannette Honeycutt (Ben) and Mary Ruth McCoy (Michael); son, Alvin Hoyle (Kim); sister, Chassie Scott; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 18th, 2016 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Rev. Dr. Harry Culbertson Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Laurelton Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
