Judy Rich Gentry, of 256 Hughey Rd. passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville. She was a native of Buncombe County and daughter of the late Ed and Lula Mae Brown Rich. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Edith Rich. Mrs. Gentry was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, David Gentry; daughters, Amanda Ward (Chris), Tena Brigman, Amber Gentry (Connie); son, Eddie Gentry; sisters, Lynn Patrick (Larry), Edna Harding (Ken); brother, David Rich; grandchildren, Steven and Jesse Ray, Dalton Brigman and Andrew Gentry- Mace.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Kenneth Huffman will officiate. Burial will follow in Grandview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
