Obituary for Danny Clenard Greene
Danny Clenard Greene, 62 of McLean Rd. Weaverville, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015. He was a native of Buncombe County and son of Clenard Greene and the late Iva Fisher Greene. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, McKinley and Emmaline Greene and Vaughn and Carrie Fisher and niece, Carrie McCarty. Danny was a professional long distance truck driver for over 40 years.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his sisters, Sandra Allen (David), Susie Ragsdale (Rocky); brother, Michael Greene (Carol Trantham); nieces, Amanda Wallen, Kristy Davis (Brent); nephews, Jeremy Allen (Apsara), Brandon Greene (Erin), Curtis Greene; three great-nieces, four great-nephews who kept him smiling. Danny is also survived by his dogs, who loved him unconditionally; Sugar, Ivy, and Barney.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the home on 141 McLean Road, Weaverville, NC.
