Charlene Carver (English)
Charlene English Carver, 62, of 569 North Main Street, passed away, February 24, 2015, after an extended illness. She is the daughter of the late Charlie and Zelda Ray English. She is also preceded in death by a brother Clinton English. Charlene is survived by her husband of 46 years, Paul Carver; daughter, Sara Cole (Scott); granddaughter, Aaralyn Grace Cole; sisters, Betty Edney, Rita Ray; brothers, Lane, Scotty, Tonie and Eldridge English. Charlene loved cooking, gardening, growing flowers and feeding her birds. She was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
A funeral service will be held 3:00pm Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Edward Hoyle will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1-3:00pm prior to the service.
