Katherine Louise Harris Norton
October 11, 1930 -January 12, 2015
After a long illness, Louise went peacefully to be with our Lord on January 12 at 4:30.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse James Harris and Lily Allen Harris of Barnardsville, NC; sisters Bonnie Whittemore and Helen Watson; and daughter Janet Elaine Rector. Louise is survived by daughters Mari Alyce Shoebotham and Bette Denise Cassida; and grandchildren Taynia, Tracie, and Aaron Shoebotham, Alex and Victoria Cassida; great grandchildren Katelyn, Sarah, Austin, Devon and Miles Reeves, Logan Shoebotham. Additionally, Louise is survived by sisters Alice Fulp, Myrtle Burgess, Irene Hunnicutt, Virginia Whittemore and brother Franklin Harris.
The family will receive friends and family at Barnardsville Church of God beginning at 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 15, 2014. The visitation will be immediately followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM to be officiated by Daniel Reed.
Louise will be interred at the Harris Family Cemetery on North Fork Road in Barnardsville, NC.
