Obituary for Lala Emmaline Shipman (Whitt)

Lola Whitt Shipman, age 99, passed away at her home Monday, August 25, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Ella May Buckner Whitt and husband, George Shipman. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Shipman and a son, Willie Raymond Shipman (Vicki), both of Weaverville; sister, Zelma Whitt of Weaverville; grandson, Jeff Shipman (Angie); granddaughter, Jessica Bailey (Dave) and five great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, August 26th, 2014 at the Buckner Elkins Cemetery in Weaverville.
