Obituary for CJ Ellison
CJ Ellison, Age 55, passed away at his home Wednesday, August 20, 2014. He was the son of the late James and Bervene Ball Ellison. His is preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Ellison.
He is survived by his wife Pamela McMahan Ellison; his daughter, Kyla Ricker (Chad) of Hot Springs, father and mother-in-law, Chester and Sue McMahan of Del Rio, TN; Brothers, Swan Ellison of Del Rio, TN and Dan Ellison (Brenda) of Newport, TN; sisters, Kathleen Raper (Chris) of Del Rio, Jean Batson (Gary) of Parrottsville, TN, Lula Ozmun (Ralph) of Morristown, TN, Brenda Heatherly (Mike) of Knoxville, TN, Opal Gregg (Dwayne) of Parrottsville, and Glenda Bewley (Jeff) of Newport; and one brother-in-law, Dwayne McMahan of Knoxville. CJ is further survived by a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.
CJ worked at Medical Action, Inc. in Arden, NC. He was a member of Gospel Tabernacle in Asheville. He loved fishing and playing with his dog and cat.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 23, 2014, at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Reverends Jerry Hensley and Kenneth Crane officiating. Interment will follow at the Gospel Tabernacle Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
