Thelma J. Davis, 70, of Barnardsville passed away, April 9, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father Lloyd Davis and sister Edna Davis Hylton. Thelma was a faithful member of Mountain Valley Methodist Church.
She is survived by her mother Jean Shetley Davis, Sister Elizabeth Huntley (Rodney), Brothers J.R. Davis, James Davis (Dana) and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, April 12, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Kenny Stump and Karen Doucette will officiate. Burial will follow in the Freedom Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
At other times the family will be at the home of Jean Davis, 55 Morgan Rd., Weaverville, NC.
